Congratulations to 101st Airborne Veteran Jim “Pee Wee” Martin on receiving the first of what will be an annual World War II Foundation Leadership Award. The Eagle Leadership statue will be given to a deserving person of the WWII generation who still endeavors today to preserve the lessons and sacrifice of that time in our history. WWII Foundation board member and Educational Outreach Coordinator Doug Barber presented the award to Pee Wee in Ohio. Can’t think of anyone who deserves it more. Thank you Pee Wee for all you do to help us to not forget the important stories of World War II and for your service as a brave Screaming Eagle in Europe in WWII.
