Kingston, Rhode Island-Veteran actor Gavin MacLeod (Kelly’s Heroes, McHale’s Navy, The Love Boat, Mary Tyler Moore Show) will narrate the upcoming film PT-120: My War in the Pacific produced by The World War II Foundation and Tim Gray Media.
When finished, the documentary will be the 23rd film on World War II delivered to American Public Television (PBS) by the WWII Foundation & TGM.
PT 120 is a half-hour documentary from the World War II Foundation focusing on the life of a PT (Patrol Torpedo Boat) crewman in the Pacific in World War II. Tom Plymesser made 48 patrols on the PT 120 in the areas of New Guinea and New Britain in WWII. He saw extensive action against the Japanese on those missions.
